Your little one will be get a glimpse at how the dance classroom works while enjoying meeting new friends and learning to follow directions. We use games and songs to introduce dance fundamentals, rhythm, and musicality. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and require either bare feet or socks with “grips” such as yoga socks. Little ones can also wear soft soled shoes or moccasins. Since you will be an integral part of this class, we ask that you turn off and stow all cell phones prior to the start of class. Creative Movement

Build a love of dancing for your preschooler in this fun movement class. Watch your little one develop sensory awareness, social skills, and body awareness while we activate their little right hemisphere brains through music and creativity! Our little dancers learn the fundamentals of a number of dances, including ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and ballroom. We use games, movement songs, and imaginative play alongside short exercises to introduce them to basic skills like foot positions and fundamentals. This is a great introduction to the classroom for little ones; we help them learn concentration, following directions and awareness of the differences of those around them. We ask that parents stay in the building and are encouraged to stay in the room or even join in, although if it is better for your little one that you're out of sight, that works for us, too; you can hang out in our waiting room! Dancers should wear comfortable clothes and long hair should be pulled back from the face. This class should be done in bare feet; we ask that shoes are removed before entering the studio.
